Peter Sellers on a gurney (it's got wheels!) and his wife, Britt Eklund (17 years younger, age 21)

Since I try to stick with only posting things with wheels, and have never before posted a hospital gurney (Well, could that have any connection to Dan Gurney?)  here's my chance to pull off quite a coup... Peter Sellers and holy smokes a beautiful young woman that married him... Britt Eckland

Wikipedia says the wheeled stretcher / gurney was named for a horse-drawn cab patented in the USA by J. Theodore Gurney in 1883 which bore a similarity to early wheeled stretchers.

Jim posted a cool photo to the facebook page for Vintage Road Racing Archive, and brought up a mild debate... who were real race car drivers among known actors from Hollywood?

And let me start by saying in no particular order, with the reason that they were known to race cars on tracks, or events that consisted of planned courses recognized as serious racing. ( Baja for example, or dry lakes)

James Garner
Steve McQueen
Paul Newman
James Brolin
Patrick Dempsey
James Dean
Dick Smothers
Eric Bana
Bruce Jenner (IMSA GTO win at Sebring for Roush)
and Tommy Ivo

Fuel Magazine's new issue looks to be a terrific one, they feature Eric Bana and the rebuilt Beast

I bet most of you know what I'm talking about, to catch up, http://justacarguy.blogspot.com/2009/02/eric-bana-love-beast-actor-eric-bana.html was 6 years ago that actor (Star Trek, Time Travelers Wife, Chopper, Black Hawk Down) Eric Bana fixed up the car he's had since he was a teen for Rally racing across Australia.

It crashed very badly, the tires weren't sticky enough. Netflix it http://dvd.netflix.com/Movie/70117051?trkid=439131&fcld=true#height2225

found on http://www.fuel-press.com/blog/fuel-19-the-beast-is-back/ and http://www.motortrend.com/features/consumer/1408_eric_bana_love_for_racing_and_1974_ford_falcon_xb/photo_15.html

they publish 3 times a year,  are well worth the cost, and if you subscribe right away, you'll get this as your first issue " Subscriptions are currently open, $54 dollars Americanm $60 Australian,  and will start with issue #19. All subs will mail out onTuesday 24th March from our Melbourne and Detroit offices, after which subscriptions will then change to start with issue #20 "

or check the list of stores and shops that now carry Fuel Magazine http://fuelzine.com/stockists/  as they will have this new issue on March 30th

Fuel Magazine has been a favorite of mine for years http://justacarguy.blogspot.com/search?q=Fuel+magazine

did you hear todays celebrity news? Harrison Ford crashed his 1942 Ryan PT22

Why crash at a golf course? Simple, big wide open lawns and lots of doctors!
"Spine surgeon Sanjay Khurana was playing golf Thursday when a single-engine, World War II-era plane crashed on the course." http://abcnews.go.com/Entertainment/harrison-ford-plane-crash-golfing-spine-surgeon/story?id=29434851&cid=fb_abcn_sf

Something was noticed to be wrong right after takeoff, and he turned it around but couldn't make it back to the airport. He's in the hospital in "stable" condition

California dry lakes, hot rods, and Norman Reedus.... all in one video that sooner or later will get on Youtube, but not yet

info about it at http://www.rodauthority.com/news/video-norman-reedus-directs-music-video-with-hot-rod-trucks/  but the music video for Blinded, by a brothers band named the Bots, isn't up yet.

You are familiar with Norman in Walking Dead, but did you remember his role as "Scud" the sidekick that betrays Blade in Blade II? or Judas in a Lady Gaga video?

Ann Margaret.. I bet you didn't expect a gallery of her with motorcycles!

they really got a lot of photos with this motorcycle and Ann... must have been a publicity thing for her Vegas show

I've posted these all before at different times, but I just realized that 3 were with the same chopper... and hell, it's always a good day to post Ann.
